My Whole Personality is a comedy podcast hosted by comedian Joanna Clark. Every other week, Joanna invites her friends to come on and talk about the obsessions and fascinations that have made them insufferable to talk to at parties. I like this one thing, so I made it my whole thing. Now no one wants to talk to me at parties. Please listen to my spiel, cause I made it my whole deal. I made it my whole personality.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Hey everyone, welcome back to my whole personality. I just wanted to come on here real quick and give a little update that there will be no episode this week. I'm doing an episode to announce that there will be no episode because I'm gonna switch to every other week. I've been I've l I've loved doing this. I'm having a lot of fun doing it, but it's a lot of work. And I just need to give myself a little more time. I tend to I I tend to really go way too hard at pretty much everything in my life. Like, for example, when I take my pills, I put every single one of my pills in my mouth at the same time. I didn't really realize I was doing it until I was taking them in front of one of my friends, and she was like, oh my god. And that's also why I have a life vac. This is not sponsored by LifeVAC, but if you don't know what a LifeVAC is, check it out. It is a self-heimlich maneuver machine. Basically like a toilet plunger you can put on your mouth if you are choking alone. So I have one for a couple reasons. Um, I also wanted to say it's I guess I guess I am doing a full episode here, but if if you aren't watching Real Hosses of Atlanta, please go watch Real Hoss Wives of Atlanta. It is the best show on television, it's so good. Angela Oakley is I could she's one of my new favorite people in the entire world. I I love the way she talks. I could listen to her say pretty much anything. She got bit by a spider. She was talking about how she couldn't sell any of these homes that she tried to flip, and then as they're showing the homes that she was actually unable to sell, she got bit by a spider in one of them, and I really liked that. Um and then on this last episode, she was fighting with a woman named Pinky, and it's such an incredible argument. It's a dialogue, you guys, you have to check it out. It's so funny. But they were talking about um potentially one of them, I think Pinky's teeth being overcrowded. So I don't know, look at that. And then the other thing I have to talk about, and I'm only gonna say like two things about it. A couple people have reached out to me about the Chanel shoe. I'm sure a lot of you have seen that Chanel came out with this sandal that is basically like not a sandal, it's you're walking barefoot. There's just like basically an N95 mask tied around your heel with a with a little string, and your your foot is bare, like your heel is the only thing that's covered. And people have asked me to speak on it, and as someone who has cut their toe off before while walking barefoot, I find this very triggering. So I don't want to think about these shoes, I don't want to talk about these shoes, I'm never gonna get these shoes. So um, yeah. It makes no sense to me that the I feel like my heel is the toughest part of my body, you know? Like I that's the last thing that needs to be covered. I don't know. I don't know. My friend Megan, when we were little, she walked around the neighborhood barefoot. Um, she said she was working on building up her calluses because she I don't know what she wanted to do, but that was like her big project for the summer. Because she would we would walk to swim team practice together and she'd walk down from her house and pick me up and she was always barefoot and she was like, I'm really, I'm really working on my feet this summer. Uh so I never I don't I don't think I ever got to look at the bottom of those feet, but uh maybe I should send her one of those babyfoot babyfoot masks. My roommate does those. I think that they're so scary. Like I don't wanna you put them on your feet. If you don't know what they are, you put them on your feet. It's some chemical that does something terrible, and then you kind of shed your foot skin like uh like you know how cicadas leave little uh leave their little empty bodies on tree trunks. That's what I imagine the bottom of my roommate's bed looks like. I'm sorry, Heather. I shouldn't have done an episode, but um next week I'm gonna release my episode with Caitlin. We're talking about mustard. I just listened to it. I forgot everything we talked about, so I just relearned quite a bit about mustard, and I'm excited for that. So I think that's all I wanted to say. And thank you also. Oh, I did start a Patreon. I'm gonna play around with maybe releasing some video episodes. So if you go to patreon.com slash my whole personality, you'll see the little page, and you know, subscribe, and eventually I'll start putting out some videos of certain episodes on there. Thank you all for listening, and I'll see you all next week. Thanks for listening to my whole personality. This podcast is edited and produced by me, Joanna Clark. Theme music by Rebecca Jaffe.
